Yes. One simple word that can change everything. It did for me.

About Me

My name is Emily. I love Jesus with all my heart. I am a wife to an amazing man, mother to many, but always at least 4 (2 bio sons, 1 step-son, and 1 adopted daughter). I always wanted to fill a van. God’s story for our family was not how I planned though. After three miscarriages I felt like my dream of having a van full of kids would never come true. But God. In 2017, I prayed 3 simple prayers: Lord, what is my ministry? What is my purpose? What are my dreams? The very next day we found out that a little girl in my Sunday school class was in foster care. We said yes when we felt called to become foster and adoptive parents. In 2020, that little girl became my forever daughter through adoption. We have continued fostering and have now bought a 15 passenger van. Yes, my dream is still to fill a van.
